I've spent over sixteen years working within the NHS as a specialist dietitian, supporting people with complex health needs manage their weight. Over that time, I've seen first-hand that most people don't struggle because they lack knowledge about food — they've become so detached from their body's needs after following fad diets for too long that they're out of touch with what their body is really asking for.
The real challenge is applying that knowledge in everyday life.
