Work with me
I'm not a "meal plan" dietitian. I work much more as a problem-solver — helping you figure out what's actually going on and what needs to change. Everything is tailored to your lifestyle, your preferences, and your challenges.

Initial consultation
A proper first conversation
For non-surgery patients
A full session to understand your situation in detail and start making sense of what's going on. Many people find one appointment is enough to give them the clarity they need to move forward.

Optional review check-in
For ongoing support
Not always needed. If a follow-up does feel useful, I usually recommend leaving at least 3–4 months so you have time to put things into practice. Some people prefer a 6–12 month check-in to see how things are going.

What to expect
I'll take the time to really get to know you so any advice or support is properly tailored to your life. I'll ask about:
From there, we start to join the dots. This isn't about me handing you a strict plan or telling you exactly what to eat — most people already know the "rules". The hard part is making it work in real life. That's what we focus on.
Bariatric support
Whether you're fairly new post-op and adjusting, or surgery was a while ago and things feel like they've slipped or weight has crept back on, I can help.
Many people — particularly those who've had surgery privately or abroad — don't always receive ongoing follow-up and can feel unsure what to do next. This support is designed to help you feel more confident and back on track in a way that works in real life.
Bariatric support is usually a one-off session, though a structured package can be arranged if that suits you better. Get in touch and we can talk through what would work best.

Experience with complex needs
A lot of the people I support aren't just looking to lose weight — they're often managing other health conditions at the same time. Working in an NHS acute hospital setting, I see how complex things can become when conditions overlap.
Type 1 and type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome.
High blood pressure, high cholesterol, heart disease.
Osteoarthritis and reduced mobility — including pre-surgery weight loss.
Sleep apnoea, asthma and related conditions.
Fatty liver disease, reflux, gallstones.
All procedures, NHS or private, UK or abroad — pre-op preparation and post-op support.
Working alongside anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder.
Joint replacements, cardiac procedures or cancer treatment.
Working alongside other healthcare professionals
Where appropriate, I can liaise with your GP or consultant, support you alongside hospital teams, and help you navigate next steps or onward referrals. This joined-up approach can be especially helpful if you're managing multiple conditions or preparing for medical treatment.
Honest fit
My approach isn't right for everyone — and that's okay. This may not be the best fit if:
The way I work is different — it's about understanding what's really going on, making realistic changes, and building something that lasts.
